1. Purpose of the service

Deer Chat is intended for private communication and controlled invite-only access. The service may include a website, server API, client applications, administrative tools, and service pages. The exact feature set depends on the current product version and deployment environment.

2. Access and accounts

  • Access may be provided only by invite or other controlled onboarding flows.
  • Users are responsible for protecting their account credentials, devices, and methods of access.
  • The service may restrict, suspend, or terminate account access in cases of abuse, security issues, or violation of these terms.

3. Acceptable use

  • Deer Chat must not be used for unauthorized access attempts, restriction bypass, infrastructure attacks, mass spam, or malicious activity.
  • Users must not upload or distribute content that violates applicable law, third-party rights, or service security.
  • Invite mechanisms, admin tools, and API flows must not be abused for mass enumeration, scraping of restricted data, or privilege escalation.

4. User content and data

Users are responsible for the content they send, store, or otherwise process through the service. Deer Chat may store, transfer, and process user data to the extent necessary to operate the product, maintain security, and administer the service. Additional details are described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Security and availability

We aim to keep the service protected and stable, but Deer Chat is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, absence of errors, compatibility with every device, or a universal cryptographic model for every scenario and every client version.

If strict legal, industry, or compliance requirements are important for a specific use case, users should independently evaluate whether the service is suitable for that scenario.

6. Administration and moderation

Deer Chat administrators may manage invites, accounts, devices, security events, and other operational information needed to run the service. Where necessary, user access may be restricted, and invites or accounts may be revoked or deleted.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deer Chat and associated parties are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss, service interruptions, account restrictions, client-version incompatibility, or other consequences arising from use of, or inability to use, the service.

8. Changes to the terms

These terms may be updated as the product, infrastructure, or legal requirements evolve. The current version is published on the website. Continued use of Deer Chat after an update means the user accepts the updated version of the terms.
